(30' X 50') RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PLAN| SOUTH FACING HOUSE PLAN
Introduction
This post cover about Institutional buildings Architectural Plan. This plan is prepared as per norms of NBC, PPA & CMDA. This plan is in accordance with the above-mentioned norms
About building
The plot area of the building is about 30' x 50' and the plinth area( the built-up area) is 1196sq.ft on the Ground floor and the same area in the upper ONE floors. The total area is around 2392sq.ft. Road Facing of the Building is SOUTH direction.
About Soil condition
The Soil profile is based on a soil test conducted in the constructed area by using a standard penetration test. As per the soil report given by the geotechnical Specialist the soil is SANDY CLAY soil which has a safe bearing capacity of 150KN/Sq.M. According to that, it is suitable to use an Isolated footing of depth 5.5 feet.

Client requirement
The main requirement of the client is budget as any client wishes the same according to this client, they have told to finish the project within 45 LAC. As per Budget, we have finalized the following
Ground floor
1.HALL- Size (12' x 18')
2.BEDROOM 1- Size (12' x 13')
4.BEDROOM 3 Size (8'-9" x 11'-9")
5. Toilet
6. KITCHEN
7.DINNING
8.PORTICO
9.VERANDAH
2.Steel grade =Fe 500
3.cover for beam = 30mm
4.cover for column =40mm
5.cover for slab = 20mm
6.cover for footing = 50mm
7.Torsion for beam = No
2. design beam
3. Print Support reaction
9.VERANDAH

Structural design Procedure
Creating modeling
For Residential Building, creating a model is done using center line layout which we referred from autocad drawing and using staad of command Run structural wizard we can create model by fixing floor grid method
Property Assign
For Residential Building, we can assume Structural member Size as follows
1.Main column = 9"x 1'-3"
2.Nominal column = 9" x 9"
3.Primary beam = 9" x 1'-0"
4.Secondary beam = 9" x 9"
Load calculation
1.Live Load
Floor Slab = 200Kg/Sq.m
Roof Slab = 200Kg/Sq.m
Staircase = 300Kg/Sq.m
2.Dead load
Slab = 325Kg/Sq.m
floor finish = 100Kg/Sq.m
Sunken = 400Kg/Sq.m
3.Brick work load
9" wall = 1400Kg/m
4.5" wall = 700Kg/m
parapet wall = 400Kg/m
Structural Analysis
The Building is designed in accordance with the Indian standard ( IS 456:2000 , IS 875; PART 1 AND 2). The Residential Building is designed using software (staad pro). The frame analysis are done using the software. Further design like foundation and slab are designed manually and using excel file. Analysis are based on P- delta analysis in which secondary effects are considered.Structural Design Input
