Geotechnical Engineer Civil jobs --- ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Coordination with field team for conducting geological mapping, topographic survey, geotechnical and geophysical investigation.
- Analysis and interpretation of geotechnical and geophysical investigation data and preparation of fields investigation & survey reports.
- Technical assistance for conducting laboratory testing in coordination with geotechnical laboratory team.
- Using specialist computer software to create analytical 2D and 3D models
- Root cause analysis
- Slope stability analysis/ landslide mitigation/ Rockfall mitigation
- Proficiency in software- Slide, RS2, AutoCAD
- Analysis and design of reinforced soil structures
- Coordination with drafting team for preparation and review of drawings.
- Preparation of Bill of Quantities, Technical Specification and construction methodology for execution of mitigation measures.
- Preparation of feasibility report
- Preparing proposals for major projects involving consultancy services.
- Managing staff, including other engineering geologists, geotechnical engineers, consultants and contractors
- Working to preserve and protect the physical environment
- Analyzing sites and designs for environmentally sensitive developments, such as landfill, slopes, stability etc.
