Morrison Hershfield India is seeking six (6) Structural Engineers for its Telecommunications practice. The Structural Engineer supports the telecom team and is responsible for performing structural evaluations of telecom infrastructure and maintaining consistency and excellence across projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Functions under the oversight and supervision of a Senior Engineer
• Prepare and/or check structural calculations for telecommunications towers, equipment mounts, and other antenna supporting structures
• Prepare and/or check design drawings and calculations for telecommunications tower upgrades, foundation upgrades, new structures and/or installation of equipment on buildings
• Work with internal technical processes to ensure the quality of all work
• Use standard structural engineering software
• Prepare and review written reports
• Use the internet or reference documents to determine site specific jurisdictional requirements

EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 Years structural engineering 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Working knowledge of building codes, analysis and design procedures
2. Proficiency in Spoken and Written English language
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
4. Experience in AutoCAD drafting is a plus
5. Excellent organization skills
6. Detail-oriented, function in a multi-task environment, follow complex instructions, and meet fast-paced deadlines
7. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
8. Ability to work overtime as required to meet client deadlines
